Service — Four-course menu prepared by LOKO Cuisine

Flavors of Ybor was a sold-out immersive dining experience celebrating the rich history, culture, and culinary heritage of one of Tampa's most iconic neighborhoods through exceptional cuisine, thoughtfully curated beer and wine pairings, and storytelling.

Guests enjoyed a four-course menu by LOKO Cuisine, with each dish representing a piece of Ybor's Cuban, Spanish, and multicultural heritage. Throughout the evening, Max Herman, award-winning owner of Tampa Bay Tours, shared captivating stories connecting each course to the people, places, and traditions that helped shape Ybor into the vibrant community it is today.

Each course was complemented by beer and premium wine pairings curated by BeyLoved Pairings, featuring selections from Sky Puppy Brewing.

The setting was part of the story itself. Guests gathered at Sky Puppy Brewing, located inside Casa Bomberos, Tampa's oldest surviving original firehouse. The beautifully restored space preserves a piece of Ybor's history while giving it new life as a welcoming gathering place for the community.

It was an unforgettable evening of food, drink, history, and connection. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the table to celebrate this iconic historic district!

Charitable Beneficiary:

Ybor City is known for its iconic and protected wild chickens and roosters, making Ybor Misfits Micro Sanctuary a meaningful partner for the evening. This all-volunteer 501(c)(3) animal rescue and microsanctuary in Historic Ybor City provides care for severely injured, sick, abandoned, and lost chickens who can no longer safely remain within Ybor's historic protected feral flock. We were honored to support their work through Flavors of Ybor.
